for beer fridge gasket

the old gasket was shot, alcohol cleaned the surface, installed this gasket bending around the corners ""on the door"" carefully, sprayed on the metal where the seal hits ""when shutting the door"" with ----liquid wrench part # L512----dry lube (quick drying) no oily residual----very carefully closed fridge door, put 2 ratchet straps on around 1 towards the top 1 towards the bottom, firmly snugged them till the door totally latched,,,, left them on for a week, then slowly opened the door watching the gasket so it follows not tearing off, resprayed the metal & let dry, open & close door a couple times, installed beer, works perfect, been using the fridge for a year now.

Pros

Doesn’t stick great to outside surfaces, even after cleaned.

Cons

It may not be effective in blocking out all types of noise
