This kit was one of the best I have ever received. I've only done 9, but the color isn't always fresh. The color in this set was fresh and easy to work with. I add Liquitex Flow Additive to make the color creamy and ready to apply. I haven't used that much yet. The rooms, particularly the floor scene, were quite complex as they are nothing but very small rooms that form the floor beneath the horse. I didn't bother to make it perfect. The colors of these children rarely match the product image, but they are beautiful nonetheless. If you enjoy doing this, learn how to use past colors to make changes to your current project. I've changed very little in most of mine, but I've started to add a little more definition. Basically just using a tiny brush to make lines on the edges to allow better separation between the spaces so the sections stand out from each other. On this one I changed one of the blue ones on the left since my 4 and 5 were about the same. I also added a definition of the name on his head as it was just a color that just looked good to me. One could not say that it must have been the flowing hair when the horse galloped. Coloring by numbers is great therapy and a great way to unwind!
