Review on ๐Ÿถ Magic Gate for Dogs: Versatile Mesh Safety Guard for Stairs, Doorways & Outdoors - As Seen On TV! by Beth Dellman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Valid with modifications

This barrier is not strong even when tightened as tightly as possible. In the attached photo you can see that the bodice still sags even when stretched. I put it on the stairs so our pup wouldn't wander to the toilet in the house. here at Revain, Home Depot, Target, Walmart etc. see photo) instead of self-adhesive on hooks to avoid damage to the walls if we remove them after they have completely destroyed the house. The barrier itself wasn't wide enough to fit at the base of the stairs, so I had to place it on the fourth step where the stairwell narrows. Since the bottom placement is narrower than the top placement, I couldn't use the hooks at the bottom (see photo), so I released them but pressed them against the step, hoping it was enough, the impossibility of shelter to demonstrate. fool him. It wasn't like that. Ascending from the top, after some research, he quickly realized that he could easily walk underwater. To solve this problem, I used industrial grade Velcro that I already had on hand (purchased from Home Depot) to attach the bottom of the railing to the step (see photo). This provides the necessary security to prevent slipping from either side. So far so good and we'll see if it holds up during our break-in period. I don't think that's the best long-term solution. The term is used because it just isn't strong enough, and as others have pointed out, pets are smart and can easily figure out how to get past the barrier. With the changes I've made it will fit our temporary needs and won't damage our walls or steps like a semi-permanent barrier/gate would.
