Failed within 1-2 months

Bought these for my 2003 Mazda Protege5. I changed spark plugs and decided to replace the coils even though my old ones worked fine. They weren't working properly so after 2 months of use I went back to my old coils for the last month and haven't had these issues since. 1) About a month later I sometimes encountered that it didn't start, it didn't start, it was decided after a few more tries. Possibly a coincidence, but I haven't encountered this problem in the last month since going back to my old coils. 2) After about 1-2 months of use I started getting a very rough idle and repeated cylinder misfires where my engine feels like it's stalling and oscillating between 0.4 and 1,000 rpm at idle. After a while I also have persistent misfires that cause a P0302 code when accelerating, which makes acceleration difficult and also causes very jerky acceleration until I hit 50 mph. 3) It's not exactly the same as the OEM coils I had. The rubber boot on the underside that engages the spark plug doesn't fit through the spark plug holes, meaning the rubber boot popped out of the spark plug holes when removing it and I had to pry it out with long pliers. OEM part is easy to assemble. In summary, I would not recommend buying them on a 2003 Mazda Protege5. Not only does it fail after a short period of use, but it's also difficult to remove if you eventually need to replace it. Save your money and the hassle, buy an OEM part or a higher quality part.
