when you need stereo sound.

This device makes it very easy to send audio from the FireCube to a separate auto-sensing amplifier. I use it in my kitchen to power 2 displays and a couple of speakers with electronic volume controls in the wall. Throw in a Harmony Hub remote and things get pretty cool. Only 24 hours on device so I'll update this post if anything goes wrong.

HDMI-HDMI with SPDIF Audio Extractor (optical) Coaxial digital audio output (2ch/5.1ch mode) and left/right stereo audio output (2ch mode). It can output audio from HDMI input source to soundbar or speakers. If audio doesn't separate from HDMI, set audio to HDMI output
