I bought this jacket for my 50 lb year old Vizsla. It's a warm, smooth jacket, but it doesn't necessarily sit directly on him. As he jumped into the deep snow, he seemed to move a little, despite being fairly close to his chest. Only the straps on the hind legs help. You can also not use a leash with a jacket. Not sure who thought a line hole would work, but it won't. I usually let him off the leash with a bird collar and this jacket is perfect for that. He was definitely out in the snow longer than usual with his jacket on, so it looks like he's warm enough.
