I took this to keep in my purse because I ALWAYS have trouble with lashes falling in my eyes and irritating them. Plus, it's nice to be able to check if something's stuck in your teeth or touch up your makeup (although cosmetics aren't used much these days due to masking and COVID). A big bonus for me and rust free means it's easy to maintain and clean when needed. The only drawback is that the mirror deforms a bit. It's barely noticeable and doesn't detract from its usefulness, but I still see it occasionally when using it. Also, I wish there were notches or something to make opening this compact easier. Nowadays you literally use it with your nails and it's so smooth it slips a little. Some may wonder how this compact can be used for alarms. If you're traveling through the forest and get lost, they'll likely send helicopters/air support to search for you in addition to their ground searches. In such cases, as soon as you see something in the air, use a mirror to reflect light on it and keep blinking. This makes you much more visible and your chances of being found are much higher.
