These chairs are very pretty. They were very easy to put together for my husband, some of the holes didn't line up perfectly but he managed. They are definitely attractive and really durable. My 2 year old climbs up and down on them with ease and I'm not afraid to knock them over and finally a chair that I'm not worried about my 2 year old. This is a standard size stool, so don't confuse it with bar stools (I'm sure you haven't). They fit far back and the back is great for displaying your muffin if you have one. It's like there's a special place for them. Basically, this is one of those chairs that, when you've got booty or love handles, pops out of the back of the chair like a biscuit in a jar. Now I'm sitting in this chair at my computer desk, and it's actually more comfortable than it looks. He's got seven little holes in his butt for... ventilation? In any case, when you push the gas on them, there's bound to be a funny tinny sound. Five stars for these attractive and useful chairs.
