Review on Energup Li-Ion Replacement Battery Pack For Black Decker Versapak VP Series With 2-Port Charger by Aaron Wilson

The size is a bit different from the Black & Decker originals I was using. The Versapak series had several model numbers - and there are slight differences as a result in size and electrical specifications (i.e. VP1xx) in this product but it still is close enough to do the job for now. What I wish someone made was a generic can in which you could buy bulk rechargeable batteries and solve the special replacement problem once and for all. I have six power tools that use these batteries and they work great. Unfortunately - B&D simply wants you to replace them entirely with their new models. That's great for B&D - but not so good for these perfectly good tools now destine for garage sale fodder. Hell, if they even gave us a trade-in on newer models - I would upgrade.
