Used for spouse who has had a stroke. It mostly works as expected. Cozy. The cover is soft and protects the skin. Additional coverage plus. This allows the thumb rest to be easily closed to better fit the hand. I ordered a medium and it fits my husband perfectly with a normal male hand. Putting the device on is a tricky task to get all the straps together so the Velcro doesn't stick to anything wrong. He could never have put it on without my help with two hands. At night, his fingers can still move under the strap, and the device tends to slide forward so his thumb isn't under the strap.
