I just installed this sink. The installation went very well. My device arrived undamaged and very well packed in the box. The packaging had some wear on the outside from shipping, but the inside was in perfect condition. The installation wasn't that difficult at all. The only issue I had was having to change the geometry of the drain pipe since this sink's drain is on the right side of the sink. Since I was replacing a horrible, flat, old double sink, I had to replace all of my plumbing fixtures. I was able to reuse my sink, but again I had to re-do some of the faucet plumbing as it would conflict with where the sink/drain would be on that sink. It's fine, and if anyone has a similar problem I highly recommend using Sharkbite fittings rather than taking out a blowtorch and soldering. Less headaches and less risk of burning your house down with a blowtorch. Very happy so far (it's only been an hour :-)) - there's MUCH more space to work with dishes or whatever you're cleaning in the sink. Because of the old sink, the water inevitably splashed all over the counter as it wasn't very deep. This is one of the nice features of this deeper sink. The drain shelf is also a nice addition that comes with the kit. The drain fitting included in the kit is not needed if you attach the drain to the drain. Gasket (around the sink, around the base of the faucet and the soap dispenser). When applying the putty, I intentionally put extra putty on the left side of the sink to raise the left side a bit to allow the water to flow to the drain on the right side of the sink. This is most likely not necessary as the sink is probably designed that way, but I added more putty on the left side just in case. while satisfied. The only minor complaint is the $265 price tag, which is a bit more than the similar Kohler so it feels a bit pricey in terms of value.
