There were no instructions in my kit so I made it my way. I used 8 foot pressure treated 2"×8"s. I cut a 10 degree angle on the ends of the boards so they fit snugly against the aluminum panel. I used a chisel to cut the aluminum edge into the top of the board, I also loosened the bottom edge of the board to fit as snugly as possible. On the rubber end I used a chisel to shape the end of the board to the shape of the cut in the rubber. I also used 4 #14 stainless steel screws to attach the rubber foot to the end of the board. I used Loctite for the included nuts and bolts.
