Good value for money Loading ramps

Very nice ramp set. Assembly/application is fairly easy and no instructions are really needed, but there was no hardware to mount the rubber feet and no suggestions for how to do it. I used a few small screws I had to hold them in place.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Not getting the right gear!

We only received 2 of (4) nuts for this ramp. We didn't get the carriage bolts at all! We did NOT receive any pins. What we got were 2 HUGE LUG BOLTS!. The equipment that was supposed to come with the ramp was not supplied as shown in the picture.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Superb quality

A 2 x 8 wooden ramp requires cutting and shaping. The end of the board should be cut at a 10 degree angle and a strip 1/4 inch wide and 1/8 inch deep should be scored on top of the tree if you want a perfect fit. After I did that, I applied Eden Products heavy-duty non-slip tape (4" wide) in two strips covering the entire 8" ramp, tucking the ends of the tape under the top aluminum bracket and the bottom rubber support fit.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expensive

Good product if you take the time to get it right.

There were no instructions in my kit so I made it my way. I used 8 foot pressure treated 2"Γ—8"s. I cut a 10 degree angle on the ends of the boards so they fit snugly against the aluminum panel. I used a chisel to cut the aluminum edge into the top of the board, I also loosened the bottom edge of the board to fit as snugly as possible. On the rubber end I used a chisel to shape the end of the board to the shape of the cut in the rubber. I also used 4 #14 stainless steel screws to attach the…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • A few little things

Great product, best for motorbikes and weightlifting

It is a bit more expensive compared to other similar ramp kits, but I think it's worth the extra money for the non-slip rubber feet. Aluminum plates are very strong and well milled (?). I use a 6ft 2x8 for the tailgate on my F150 truck and the ramps are at a reasonable, comfortable angle. I plan on using ramps for loading and unloading boxes and only mowers, so I think this is safe and workable. it fits and looks better (the sincerest form of flattery). Nothing needs to be done to attach the…

BIsupply aluminum loading ramp kit.

Price was reasonable and shipping was reasonable. I should have just ordered two nice folding aluminum loading ramps instead of trying to build my own with this kit. After going to the local lumber shop, getting a 2 x 6 long and cutting it in half and then adding aluminum braces to the ends of each board, it didn't work because the brace didn't allow the board to be on the right side Angle for the ramps to work. Instead of going back to the lumber shop and buying a longer 2 x 6 to make the ramp

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Functionality

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not well designed.

Aluminum with sharp corners. They had to be rounded and smoothed. The edges are sharp. Aluminum requires a 10 degree cut and a slight overhang for a good fit. The rubber isn't made for 2X wood and I didn't bother attaching it too much by changing the 2X end. When using aluminum, the tailgate really doesn't have enough grip. And the angle of the aluminum part doesn't even match my shorter truck. Most people drive short beds. If I cut my lumber to fit an 8ft platform the angle might be right, but

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Easily torn
