Review on Universal Projector Ceiling Mount, White - QualGear QG-PM-002-WHT by Jason Man

I bought this mount over some others for two reasons: The projector screen I bought was Qualgear and the quality of the product which I found to be quite good. I wanted a corresponding product line. The box arrived and was smaller than I thought it would be. The materials used seemed pretty durable and the second reason I bought them was because they gave me the option of using a telescoping pole or mounting it closer to the ceiling. My screen sits about 1.5ft below the ceiling because it's oddly shaped so I can't place it higher, but I like it that way because it's at eye level rather than looking up a bit. Back to the bracket, the plate bracket drilling template comes with very simple instructions to help you easily attach the bracket or bracket adapter. I did this no more than 20 minutes after measuring and finding the ceiling studs. I installed half with a bolt and half with the included drywall anchors. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I'm really not sure how it will hold up with the heavy projector I'm looking to buy, I have a relatively light (7lb) projector and I sometimes drag tighten the hinge to get him picture. The area was not easy. This was the only thing that took a long time because the weight of the projector kept going down so I had to lift it higher to anticipate the fall.
