I upgraded my graphics card from an Nvidia GTX 1080 with two 8-pin PCIe power connectors to a Radeon RX 6900 XT with three 8-pin PCIe power connectors and needed another PCIe extension cable to fill out the new connection. I already had a set of extensions from another manufacturer that I wanted to match as closely as possible. I bought these instead of some others because they are 16AWG instead of 18AWG and my existing 16AWG so they match in diameter. With the 300+ watt card, I also wanted to increase the wire size to provide power. They didn't have the same color combo with the sleeves as the ones I already had, so I put the new one in the middle to even out the color scheme a bit. I used 24-pin ATX headers on three 8-pin PCIe cables so they all routed flat and together to the graphics card, a neat little trick I saw in a YouTube video. Extension cords connected directly to the cords coming from my power supply and the quality seems excellent. If you don't want to buy a set of non-standard cables for your computer, then this is what you need. I just needed a PCIe expansion but I'm preparing to upgrade my motherboard once the one I'm looking at is released and some others can then be used. Even if you use a few extension cords now, the price is still worth it.
