Not recommended for fish and aquatic animals.

I have had this and kept it in a Betta aquarium but would not buy or recommend it again. One of the leaves fell off as soon as I opened the tin and won't come back, so that's not great. It also doesn't open as nicely as in the picture, even when in the tank. I also had to cut and file a few sharp points on the base before placing it in the tank.
