Review on 🔪 GBC Paper Shredder Review: Personal Duo, 12 Sheet Capacity, Super Cross-Cut – Black (1757394) by Dustin Marshall

It went like this for maybe 3 hours. It wasn't a sequel and at most maybe 45 seconds of continuous work, enough to add a page and then another right after that. Not sure what caused it to start working weird. It works when there is nothing in it (when it should be stopped). It stops about 1/8 inch when I put something in it. It only goes when I press the forward button and then it doesn't stop until I put in another sheet of paper and then it stops again after it's about 1/8th of the document done. lol I've never had overheating issues and there is a red light that should come on when it overheats. Nice feature, but I haven't been able to test it yet. I agree with another person who said the feeder is a bit difficult to use. The paper opening is very small and slightly wider than a sheet of paper (about 1/8 inch on one side and almost 1/2 inch free space on the other side), so you need to insert documents carefully. I can see how good it would be to not heavily restrict someone from accidentally uploading too many documents to shred. The feeder says it can hold up to 14 sheets of paper. I put 10 and it slowed down a bit. Six to seven documents seemed like the optimal spot where he wouldn't slow down to handle the heavier workload. Shredding credit cards sucked. I had to run them twice and some parts a third time. The CD case is not well designed. First it's on its way to the regular waste area as it starts to fill up. Secondly, when you pull out the trash can to throw away, you'd better remove the CD trash can first, because it is not fixed securely and will fall off immediately when you throw away the trash can. Too bad it got really good reviews here and there. some websites that he reviewed very, very well.
