We bought this dehumidifier to remove moisture and mold in our basement. I don't think we ever smelled musty like we normally do for the first week before using this dehumidifier. We leave it on and it effectively and efficiently removes moisture from our basement and makes our home look fresher. Our house is about 1200 ft² but the basement is about 700 ft² and it is convenient to work from this place. What we really like about this dehumidifier is the hose attachment because we drain it into our floor/surface drain so we don't have to keep emptying the tank. Since the dehumidifier has wheels, it is also very easy to move. Personally, I really like its stylish and modern design, I find it very appealing even though it's in a much-seen spot at the top. We have been using this dehumidifier for six months, there are no complaints, we definitely recommend it.
