Nice design though. Good for cheese tools
I bought this because my last slicer had a broken handle and I liked that the metal in this slicer and handle is one piece. The slicer is a good weight and the cutting area gives a thicker slice of cheese. Unfortunately mine isn't very spicy and crumbles the cheddar. I've tried several different blocks and they all collapse. I didn't have this problem with previous slicers. My slicer also got small holes and small rust spots after the first wash in the dishwasher.
