Warm mist vaporizers are much better than cool mist vaporizers because cold vaporizers form mold and have corrosive parts. Unless you fill it with distilled water, the heating element will develop mineral deposits that will need to be cleaned periodically (like a coffee maker), but this one is well constructed so the element can be stripped and soaked in vinegar or some other descaling solution. Everything about it works fine. The detachable bucket makes refilling easier. Durgol solution quickly removes mineral deposits. A suggestion for the manufacturer: Wrap a small cleaning brush around the heating element.
