I no longer have to break my back! I help animal rescue. In addition to the residents, my home is a revolving door for many animals every day. Daily cleaning is necessary between wool and dirt! I like that the pan is pryed to the bottom so any residue goes right in. The teeth are long enough to easily clean the bristles. About the length of the broom handle - The broom did not come with an extension cord. This was strange to me as I was used to a much longer broom handle. I contacted the seller as instructed. Received an immediate reply and the extension was sent immediately. In the meantime, I continued to use the broom without it. Now that it's arrived I have to say I like it a lot better with the shorter handle. It's easier to hold the dustpan in one hand and the broom in the other if the handle on the broom is shorter. I would suggest using it with a shorter grip for a week before requesting an extension. It might be easier for you to use it. All in all a great product! Will buy again and give as gifts!
