The reason this duvet got 4/5 stars is that it is NOT EXACTLY as thick as I was hoping. This is an EXTREMELY soft, large, but not true fleece or extra thick blanket. This is one of those ones you would use in the summer or in warmer weather. This was a gift for my 7 year old daughter who is obsessed with horses so she absolutely loves it although it's not a very thick blanket. It's on her bed, over the covers, and that's enough. She will also use it to wrap herself up when lounging around the house, but then again it's not as thick fleece as I think people are suggesting. Don't get me wrong, this is still a very pretty blanket. Extremely soft - I can't even stress it!
