Review on Besign BK03 Bluetooth 4.1 Car Kit: Handsfree Talking, Music Streaming, Dual Port USB Car Charger, Ground Loop Noise Isolator - Compatible with Cars Featuring 3.5mm AUX Input Port by Will Micheals

The cables are of different lengths and are not always connected automatically.

I got this kit for my wife's 11 CR-V. When I received it I was immediately concerned that the cables would not be long enough for the way I wanted to install them. I was right, they were too short, but I was able to find a way to make everything work. For some reason the USB/power cable is only 53 inches long while the audio cable is almost 90 inches long. They connect in one cable for about the first 40 inches and then separate, so I was a bit limited on how to route them behind the dash. This car has an AUX input and a power connection in the center console. , so I wanted to route the cable under the console, then under the carpet, and finally behind the dash to the last spot I chose for the microphone. However, the shorter USB end prevented me from doing so. Instead I had to route the cable along the seam (outside) of the dashboard to the socket under the radio near the floor, from there I routed the audio cable under the floor mats to the center console. It's not as clean as I'd like, but I think I'll eventually find a USB extender and redo the install the way I wanted. I had no problem pairing it with two phones, although I didn't try to pair it with both phones at the same time. I'm not sure how this would work or how it's even done. I didn't try it without soundproofing either, because what's the point? The included dual charger worked well, but I didn't use the vent clip or velcro. With Velcro attached, the mic looked like it was going to dangle and be about to fall off, although it wasn't. I just didn't want to risk it and instead used 3M mounting tape to tape it in place near the center of the front console. It was supposed to automatically turn on and connect to your phone when you start the car, but that way it was hit and miss. Sometimes it is, and sometimes I had to manually connect it from my phone, and yes, I made sure the bluetooth was actually on. It's a nice concept, but I think it needs some tweaking.
