I have no problem at all living in a two bedroom apartment though during the winter my heating just seems to not work that well. I have covered my windows with thick plastic as well as adding caulking around the windows. I will take further steps to avoid calling my landlord, who i so bad of sight he left my front door wide open once, letting out my cat. My most recent experimentation was to avoid turning on the heat. How hard can it be to heat a two bedroom apartment with portable heaters? It turned out it's not that simple. I tried that last year up until about middle December, then switched back to the old clunker heating unit. I did notice that my experiment with the portable heaters was not a total failure, thinking i could fine tune my approach next year and make it work. I also cover up my vents due to a neighbor using a super powerful and cheap smelling plug in air freshener thing. So when i turn on the heat, that unpleasant fragrance will sometimes float throughout my living spaces. I am now in the middle of my second round at perfecting or attempting to perfect this portable heater method. My first heater i am happy to say was a success. I am talking about this neat electric space heater from the Trustech brand. This is a new brand to me and also a new favorite. This will be the second standalone heater i will be using with the other one being one of those large contraptions that mimic a fireplace. To be totally honest this small heater is almost if not the same in relation to effectiveness as that said large model from another brand. That also goes to show certain designs with certain LED lights does not always equal top performance. Moving forward, this is a powerful little heater that is super lightweight and can be placed in many kinds of areas, that larger units will not fit or might fit but you think it may be risking it, due to the proximity of the heating element to a potentially flammable material.I love how there is a nice woodgrain outer shell, that actually really blends in with my other wood furniture items, like bookshelf's and tables of a similar wood type.I did not realize this came with a remote so that's a nice added feature. This is easy to operate and does not need instructions to figure out the settings though i always recommend reading them for safety reasons.I like how i can simply pick this up and walk it into another room and hold it in one hand due to how light it is. I found myself reading in the living room area then when ready for bed, i was able to carry the cat and book with on hand and the heater with the other into the sleeping area.I have had a lot of experience with heaters over the years and i feel strongly this one is safe.To summarize, i am very happy with this portable heater and recommend it.
