Good quality, heavy weight, best if your pipes come out of the wall
I've had this for a few weeks now. I do like it and would order it again if it fit my cabinet better. It is best for applications where your plumbing goes into the back wall of and not through the base. It is heavyweight material, and my pipes come up through the floor, so thy won't let the mat sit flat. They do provide a couple moulded-in slots with little straps that look like they would allow you to strap it around water lines coming up through the cabinet base. Unfortunately, they did not align with my pipes.I originally wanted to use this under my sink for any leaks that might happen from the drain. I have another 36" cabinet where I keep cleaning supplies, and I'll use this there.
- Helps to extend the life of your cabinets and protect them from water damage
- The mat may not be practical for those who do not use their sink frequently
