Review on Koason Android Multimedia Navigation 2009 2015 by Jay Mitchell

I really wanted to like this device. In fact, I like it when it works, which is about a third of the time when the car is on. The encrypted screen is the most commonly seen. Contacted the company, jumped through many hurdles in a couple of weeks. Voltage test (good), Software version screenshot, MCU version screenshot, New Android update installed, New MCU update installed. Basically no change. They asked to send a video of the screen of the problem. Now days later no response. I know from forums and YouTube videos that this is not a common problem and is known to be a faulty device, but they don't want to admit it. UPDATE: Finally the company is convinced it's a faulty device. They agreed to ship the new device only after I shipped the old one (at my own expense) instead of sending the new device with a return label on the old one. Now I'm staring at the hole in my dash waiting God knows how long for a replacement. Terrible customer service. UPDATE: Got the replacement unit and it works as it should. Overall the product is great with a few quirks I can live with. I want to thank Louis from China for finally helping me.
