Although the quality is very good, it's not as thick as I imagined. Whether it's a physical anomaly or a product, it's too small for my head. Being one size doesn't really work. It doesn't go down as far as I'd like and leaves it cold in the wind. I've had many other hats and never had this problem, but I've been known to have a big head. Overall, if you have a medium sized small head, this product is great for Fall/Spring. But I don't think it will keep you warm in winter. I suggest maybe looking for other Columbia hats? Their quality is excellent.
