arrived non-functional, I have read many negative reviews or this product but took a chance with the price. The battery charges however the light does not turn on. I believe the problem lies in the two spring loaded copper connectors on the light housing; these are two little copper pins that provide a connection between the removable battery and the light housing. One was missing when I unpacked the devise, the other shot off (met it's anti-matter equivalent on the floor and disappeared into the magical world of physics (Always wear eye protection, when you think you do not need it is when you get a nickname like "lefty" or "Popeye").) The electrical contact mechanism that failed consist of a pair of copper tubes (Neg(-) and Pos(+) with a spring and copper plunger in each, in theory this allows the device to maintain a circuit regardless of machining tolerances, fit or shock. However the plungers were secured by a slight crimp in the exposed end of the tube, this fails to retain the plungers and allows them to launch into history. I will attempt a repair by replacing the (escaped) spring/plunger assembly with simple copper springs. I do believe the R&D department from the good people at LOFTEK should reevaluate the electrical contact assembly.
