Review on MotoFab Lifts F150 1 5 Leveling Compatible by Hurst Batiste

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I lined up my 2014 F150 just right but installation is tricky!

This kit is great and installed easily over my racks. I'm glad I went with the 1.5" because it actually levels my truck. I think a 2" spacer would have made the front a bit higher than the back, which I didn't want because I accidentally towed a trailer over the weekend.. I consider myself pretty strong at most DIY jobs and this project is definitely doable but you definitely need to have the right tools and decent car/truck experience Just because you're a 17- mm socket doesn't mean it's the correct length of socket, wrench, etc. A list of tools required is included but I found it to be incomplete Things I'd like to make simpler: a Jacks, a quality 1/2" air tool, and more choice of socket sizes and lengths. Yes, that goes for most automotive jobs, but you know what I mean. The hardest part is the bre Be careful not to tear the lines if the control lever falls and you try to install/remove the shock absorber. You should definitely remove the caliper and hang it up. You risk damage to the brake lines which could cost you to tow and more than it would cost to have them installed for you. How do I bring a bungee cord? What color is dad? Can I have that? Just bring it to me! Took me about 7-8 hours in the workshop. The next day I also went to Precision Tune for a wheel alignment and it actually needed an adjustment. So if you have any doubts, you should think twice, otherwise you'll ruin your tires pretty quickly. Also watch a few different YouTube videos on installation to get as many tips as possible. In general, I liked it, and I'm always proud of doing something myself. The total cost was just the kit, alignment, some blood, sweat, worry and almost tears. You can also support local mechanics.
