LIKE - not fire retardant!
Flame retardants are poison. This mother doesn't have her. I know because the other mat I used causes headaches and nausea. I use these rugs in an unconventional way as pillows etc, but I would be even more concerned about the flame retardant properties of other rugs if I was using them for baby sleep! The vinyl exterior is very easy to care for and not overly toxic. While I'm sure vinyl isn't the best material, it's worth rinsing in the shower so it comes out clean. Thank you for creating a Fire Retardant Mat! :)
