Review on 🚗 Metra 95-7309 Double DIN Installation Kit: Fit 1995-2006 Hyundai Vehicles by Jason Clemons

This was my first car stereo installation. After reading this guide I still don't understand how these brackets support the radio. I asked for advice on a car forum and most people found the instructions pretty clear - I think I needed more illustrations to understand the installation process. Essentially you take two side brackets and insert them into the faceplate such that the brackets are perpendicular to the faceplate and the hole of the machine is connected. Insert your new stereo system into this device. Then, using the screws that came with your new stereo, attach each side bracket to the side of the stereo. These oddly shaped holes can insert screws!). Once the mounting kit is attached to the stereo, connect all the wires, verify that the stereo works and screw it to the car (I chose not to use spacers, the stereo is a bit recessed but I like it). This whole process took a lot longer than it should have, but I'm very happy with the end result.
