Keeping fish healthy can be exhausting. So I'm glad there is this product that reduces stress for me and my goldfish. Goldfish produce a lot of nitrate, so I have to change the water in the aquarium once a week. Although I use reverse osmosis water, I still like to play it safe by adding Microbe Lift to the tank at the same time. I only need to add 1 teaspoon per 10 gallons which is good as this bottle should last a while. (However, if you are starting a new aquarium, it is recommended to use 2 teaspoons per 10 gallons). When using it, I notice that I don't have to change the water in the aquarium that early and my goldfish don't seem to have any side effects. I just wish the company was more transparent about their bacterial blend and whether there's anything else in the blend as I couldn't find any specific information on the exact ingredients on the bottle.
