I'm serious. There are many deodorants out there. They list their ingredients, especially if they are to be used near the feet. They also always have a kind of porous shell so that the molecules can pass through the barrier and be absorbed. That's about the size of a glow stick and about the same composition. I'm trying to understand how this plastic can make a difference. I won't put it in my fridge so I put it in my teenager's tennis shoes. His feet don't smell terrible, just the normal smell of an active teenager. And adding this to just one of them in the last week and a half or so has done absolutely nothing.
