VERY DELIGHTED. After a lot of research I decided to do this only to find out it was all I was trying to avoid. The material is a VERY cheap type of nylon/plastic, the tubes that go in are VERY THIN AND LEAVE LOTS OF SPACE in the slots, the distance between the two slots (ie the part that goes under the door) is very large - so much to make the item UNUSABLE. When you open the door one way or the other, it slides a few inches, leaving the gap as large and visible as it was before installation. This of course means it is VERY INEFFICIENT as a NOISE REDUCER, let alone an ODOR REGULATOR. Since you have to crop things first, if you find they don't work because you changed them, there's no way to get them back! Unless you have a very, very thick door and a very, very small gap. between the door and the floor I would definitely keep looking and MISS THIS OPTION
