Review on ๐Ÿพ Prestige 30-Foot Super-Beast Dog Tie-Out - Enhance Your Pet's Safety and Mobility by Beth Wilson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Definitely heavy here

I bought a Prestige Super-Beast Dog Tie Out (30ft) to replace the one that got rusty and broke over the winter. I have a 52 lb Beagle/German Shepherd mix and she is quite strong. So when I saw that this binding wasn't more expensive than the lighter version, I thought it would be a good choice. It's definitely a tie worthy of the Superbeast name. This is a very thick metal cable covered in a thick gray vinyl jacket. The fasteners at both ends are also very large and heavy. Overall, he probably weighs over 3 pounds. even with everything rolled up, which doesn't sound like much but it is (I don't recommend buying this if you have a dog under 40lbs, I don't think they can walk!). When I first clipped it to my dog's collar, she came out of the house like she had a punching bag on her shoulders, but she was strong and could run around the yard like a greyhound with no problem once she got used to it. on the weight of the mount and the cable. The only thing that gave me four stars instead of five is the style of the clasp. To open the clasp, you need to grasp the small lever between your thumb and forefinger and pull outwards/downwards. It takes some trial and error and is certainly not as convenient as other types of fasteners, but I imagine it gets easier with use. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an extremely durable tie for their dog.
