Attaching the chain to the watch was easy, and it was just as easy to attach the chain to the waistband of my pants. The watch arrived wound up and after two weeks the battery is fine. Without wasting time. The watch isn't used daily, but for those who want to use it every day, it shouldn't be a problem. I don't know anything about the long-term reliability.
