I was able to use this with both Windows and MacOS. Both operating systems support plug and play, which means that the second screen is recognized and you can extend or mirror the display of your main device. The monitor has a different scale/ratio than my machine(s), that's the only thing I had to get used to. Overall the picture quality is about 8 out of 10. It's not as sharp as some OLED screen but I use it for work (software development) not gaming/design. I was pleasantly surprised by the picture quality. Monitor. It comes with a carrying case that makes it extremely portable (takes up no more space than a tablet/Kindle/etc) and loads of cables. I only used a USB-c to USB-c cable because it not only consumes the monitor's power, but also the video signal. Again, it just works and there were no problems. There is an extendable leg on the back of the monitor so you can position the corner to match your laptop screen and/or monitor. Overall I am very happy with this monitor. It is easy to install, use and store. Highly recommended.
