They come vacuum packed which is good but they do need to be washed first. I made the mistake of putting it on before washing and it had a very bad smell. They're likely to be manufactured and packaged immediately, giving them very little time to release gas from whatever they're made of. They don't stretch very far, so they'll fit better on someone who's taller. I'm 6ft 3ft 240lbs and need to stretch it a bit (if I can without tearing it). I can wear it, but I have to take it off from time to time. What do you expect from the quantity you get and the cheap price.
