I bought this unit to run water through my solar panel that we use to heat our 15,000 gallon above ground pool. The solar panel is 12 3/4" diameter, 6' long copper tubing connected to form a heat sink. The water flows by gravity to the pump, then the pump pushes the water through the solar panel and back into the pool with it a stroke of about 4ft. I have a timer so it only runs when the sun heats up the solar panel. I worked on this for 70 days this summer and it did exactly what I wanted. Leave the water in long enough Solar panel to heat and keep the pool temperature between 82 and 87 degrees in Colorado With our cold night I put a sun blanket on the pool at 9pm and leave it on until 3pm I don't use a geyser with this system.
