I've been using this thing for about a month. It works pretty well, one of the best phone mounts I've had. It's too hot in the car and the glue will melt and the bracket will eventually fall off. It works great in spring, fall and winter, but it fell off 4 times in the summer. This one solves that problem and to be honest I like the seat a bit better too. Remember, for lack of a better description, you can adjust this with the "fly up" or "fall down" lever - this will lift the phone up or down depending on your preference. I prefer it go down so my phone stays below the window line. I've only had the mount pop out of the slot with the phone once, which is a good indication of how strong the magnet is. Tilting the phone outwards instead of pulling it straight towards you will mostly solve this problem. Even if he pulls out the holder, it is very easy to put it back into the CD slot. Overall I would definitely give this recommendation if you are looking for a new magnetic phone mount and have a CD slot. One final note: I can still play the CD just fine with this holder in place. Of course, if you want to replace the CD, you'll need to remove and replace the phone mount. I hope this review was helpful!
