It seems like whenever I write reviews it's mostly when I really love something or had real problems with the product. This is no exception. I have been tired of waking up from seeing the first morning light coming through the mini blinds in my bedroom so I wanted something to block out as much light as I could.I looked at numbers of curtains from revain, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kohl's, etc. and had set my sites on one here at revain, but they were out of stock in the color and size I wanted. So, I kept looking and came across these and decided to order them.I was surprised how heavy the box was when it was delivered as I was expecting much lighter weight curtains. When I opened them I saw that the color I ordered (navy) was true to the picture. The curtains are also lined with black fabric. I installed them with rods that were made for blackout curtains, i.e. the have a curve at the ends to help alleviate light coming in from the sides.These do everything the description says. The only light that comes in my room is from above the curtains and a bit from the sides, but you can't expect that they will block that light. I think you'd be surprised at how heavy these curtains are compared to others. There's times I want to take a quick power nap during the day and these curtains do an amazing job to let me get that 20 minutes of sleep in with a darkened room.
