I used to smoke cigarettes in my car and since then I only let other people in when my big dog isn't around. After numerous hikes, bad smelling dogs, cigarettes, spills, etc., this cleaner was able to reduce the odor to almost imperceptible. I kept him plugged in all the time and I have 30-50 minutes before work either way so he had time to cast his negative ion magic. I was on the verge of how this would live up to the claims but it worked really well. I highly recommend the cleaner. The only downside is the LED backlight; It is very bright and disturbs when driving at night. I see reflections on the windshield and the two front side windows. I rotated the product to find a less bright area but it's still very distracting. The USB ports work as advertised. Good product. As per the shipper's answer to my question about brightness and dimming, in the next iteration he may incorporate a method of dimming or turning off the LED light. Just to clarify, this response may not have been verified by the sender.
