You wouldn't think there would be problems with the size of RAM chips, especially of the same type. There was a problem replacing the memory for this computer because the CD drive was right above the RAM chips and there was no free space. Some of the chips I saw were slightly larger and didn't fit. The bottom of the CD drive would get in the way. It was a form factor identical to the chips that were previously in the computer, so they worked perfectly. Also, the chips themselves worked great. Easy update.
