worked for me in Computers and Accessories

I had to buy 4 sticks in one package and 2 sticks in another package (total 24GB which is the max for this computer and because I need the most). They were all A-Tech DDR3 1333MHz DIMM PC3-10600 UDIMM Non-ECC CL9 240-pin. Due to two different orders I received 4 low profile modules and two standard size modules. Installed them on a Dell Studio XPS 435MT desktop which had persistent BSDs with different error codes every time and failed the BIOS memory test. Installed A-Tech memory and booted…

Worked on a Dell Vostro 460

Bought for my son's PC so he can play Fortnite without slowing down or loading the PC. His PC had 4GB in slots 1 and 2, I took it out and put it in slot 3 and 4 and then in slot 1 and 2. Plugged it back in, pressed the power button and it won't boot. Pulled the old RAM out of slots 3 and 4 and immediately booted up with the new RAM. I turned it off again and put the old RAM back in slots 3 and 4 and this time it booted fine and saw all 12GB of RAM. I assume it's because the PC was looking for…

Dell Optiplex 780 Small Form Factor - Works Great!

I purchased this memory to upgrade my older Dell Optiplex 780 small form factor computer (manufactured April 2011) from 4GB of memory to 16GB. I also upgraded to an SSD and an AMD Radeon HD 7570 1GB graphics card. This little PC runs Linux Mint 20.1 like a dream. Fast start, great web browsing with multiple tabs open. Downloaded Steam to play some games. Age of Empires Definitive Edition and DOTA2 run very smoothly. It took 5 minutes to swap out the memory. Good luck and upgrade some of those…

The specs say it should work; DOA

I started repairing PCs about 25 years ago. So before I bought this memory to upgrade my HP Compaq 8000 Elite SFF desktop, I checked the hardware reference guide to make sure they are compatible. Aside from memory times not being listed, this chip matches my motherboard specs. I bought two 4GB DIMMs individually as it was a bit cheaper than buying a kit with two 4GB DIMMs in the package. I removed the original memory from my system and installed both new DIMMs. When trying to boot the system I…

Fits snug and works great

You wouldn't think there would be problems with the size of RAM chips, especially of the same type. There was a problem replacing the memory for this computer because the CD drive was right above the RAM chips and there was no free space. Some of the chips I saw were slightly larger and didn't fit. The bottom of the CD drive would get in the way. It was a form factor identical to the chips that were previously in the computer, so they worked perfectly. Also, the chips themselves worked great…

I keep coming back for a reason

If you're having trouble with the Dell Precision T3500 and storage configurations, make sure the SATA controller is set to Raid/AHCI. The hallmark of this company is that their ram works anytime, anytime. In my case I had a strange problem with the RAM and the built-in Intel Raid controller. TLDR Jason was willing to submit an RMA as soon as I described my issue, but as a die-hard IT pro I tried again. and found out it was a simple BIOS change from RAID only to RAID/AHCI (I changed the BIOS…
