Bought for my son's PC so he can play Fortnite without slowing down or loading the PC. His PC had 4GB in slots 1 and 2, I took it out and put it in slot 3 and 4 and then in slot 1 and 2. Plugged it back in, pressed the power button and it won't boot. Pulled the old RAM out of slots 3 and 4 and immediately booted up with the new RAM. You wouldn't think there would be problems with the size of RAM chips, especially of the same type. There was a problem replacing the memory for this computer because the CD drive was right above the RAM chips and there was no free space. Some of the chips I saw were slightly larger and didn't fit.
