Schneider Electric/APC gets harder and harder to love over time. Luckily, the main feature and reason you bought it here - an uninterruptible power supply - is still second to none. Perhaps it was the lack of real competition that caused APC to miss out on every other aspect of its product. In the past, the documentation for such products was extensive. Now it's a four-color series of illustrations, without words (who needs translators?), on one side of a single sheet of paper, and almost meaningless. One can only guess what the intention is. Fasteners, if needed at all, have me stumped. I do not understand, how this can work when my front and rear struts are 12 inches apart. t no proper screw holes on the device itself. The documentation here is also useless. Finally, the horribly ugly front panel was useless to me. It is meant to be secured with four small screws. Only ONE of the screw holes on the unit itself was machined correctly to accept the screw. How this thing got out of the door in the first place is another mystery. Everywhere I look there is a piece of paper that supposedly indicates that it has been tested and passed the test. I haven't had enough time to actually see this UPS in action and deal with the messy, erratic power coming out of the outlet it's plugged into. or ten seconds power failure, before the emergency power supply is switched on. I must hope and think for the sake of my health that the reliability and quality of APC to which I have grown accustomed for over 20 years
