The natural way to avoid chemicals and baking soda to raise pH

My pH went from a steady 6.0 to 7.0 in a week. I have a 70 gallon/Fluval 406 tank and use this product with a media bag. I just slip the bag into one of the top media compartments and add more as I go. I would take the advice of the reviewers here. - Use a small amount at first, then gradually add more to reach the desired pH level. - Rinse thoroughly before use. to avoid a cloudy tank.
