Review on πŸ“· Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN, C for Micro 4/3: Outstanding Performance and Versatile for Micro Four Thirds Cameras by Doyun Kwon ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

In my opinion, this is quite a worthy glass at a quite adequate, affordable price for many (unlike the Pro Olympus and Panasonic portrait series). It’s stupid to compare the capabilities of FF and M4 / 3 . you can screw up with any technique, just don’t forget that a picture / photograph is killed or spoiled / made a masterpiece, as anyone likes, much more often photographers, and not glass and carcasses to it.

Pros
  • I liked everything so far . I was looking for a lens as some kind of alternative to the Olympus 45mm 1.2Pro. It is generally difficult to compare them, as well as to compare 42.5 from Panasonic. It's more of a reasonable alternative. I shoot mostly in the studio, I haven't tried it outdoors yet. What I like: sharpness on the open window! She is fantastic. Along the edge of the frame, everything is also pretty good, if you press the hole a little, then, of course, there won’t be such ahs, and given the good price / performance (quality) ratio, you can close your eyes to a lot. It's just that for me this lens is primarily a portrait lens)
Cons
  • while there are no serious shortcomings, are distortions and vignetting a little embarrassing, but this is most likely just my subjective opinion.
