Don't trust the calibration of

I bought this to check the pH of the foods I have canned in my kitchen. It should come out of the box calibrated but it isn't, but I still wouldn't trust food safety without calibrating it myself. There was so little liquid in the storage bag that I would have to buy about 1/8 ton more for the lid - that annoys me a bit. Although it comes with a 7ph buffer solution, I've found it makes sense for me to buy small packs of 4 and 7 for future calibration needs. General usage seems pretty straightforward, and calibration was straightforward.
