Favorable in two senses. So cheap I thought I got the deal. Not so. First, it's so unergonomic that it's difficult to hold even if you rub it. Second, it would be helpful to have a lid to hold the cheese while grating (as does its more expensive OXO cousin). Third, it broke during use on the very first meal I tried to use. Absolute rubbish. I've had OXO for three years. It worked great all along, up until the unfortunate combination of being dropped and stepped on. I figured I could save a bunch of money and get the same quality work out of it... I was wrong.
