I use this in my wood cutting cnc. I've previously used a Niagara 1/4" end mill. It cut fine, but encountered very tough cuts on pine and birch plywood. Pretty sure it dulled, but never cut as well as this one. It wasn't either true to size and there were some lines visible in the cuts (both of which I attributed to the CNC setting not the bit) I Whiteside has never let me down so I decided to order a pair of these MAN I AM HAPPY I MADE IT! With this attachment, the cut quality is MUCH better and more accurate! Just changing this bit made my measurements 100% accurate and saved me so much. MUCH. GRIND. SO SO SO MUCH Since I use it to make products making for sale I literally save money on my finished products by saving many hours of sanding/finishing I was lucky and spoke highly of Whiteside before but now I'm a pure Whiteside evangelist! I h Atte good luck with parts of Whiteside, Freud and Amana. These cheaper bits can get the job done (like Ryobi), I recently found out that pre-cut cuts from quality bits are really worth a few extra bucks.
